This fitting looks very nice. It does have a tendency to undo in the wrong place when unscrewing the bulb so I may put a dash of Loctite on the thread. My particular lampshade is 40mm and this fitting is 41mm (as was noted on the dimensions pic) so I had to open it out a little.
I don't have any qualms about the quality of the electrics though and it suits the large aluminium shade very well.
